The flanged gate valve PN40 type 4B is a small bore gate valve. It features a full-bore design for small-diameter pipelines in process and plant engineering. Moreover, the valve is available in two material variants: cast steel P250GH \/ C22.8 (1.0460) with half-stellited 13% Cr internals, or stainless steel 1.4571.<\/p>\n

This gate valve DN15 PN40 covers nominal sizes DN15 to DN50. It operates at a pressure rating of PN40. Flange drilling conforms to EN 1092-1<\/a> Form B1. Furthermore, the bolted bonnet construction with outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) ensures reliable operation by handwheel.<\/p>\n

Materials and Approvals of the Small Bore Gate Valve<\/h3>\n

The flanged gate valve PN40 comes in two material variants. The steel version uses a body in P250GH \/ C22.8 (1.0460) with half-stellited 13% Cr internals. It provides high wear resistance and elevated-temperature strength. The stainless steel version uses a body and internals in 1.4571. It is designed for corrosive media and clean-service applications.<\/p>\n
