The special, funnel-shaped housing allows the medium \u2013 such as powders or granules \u2013 to flow through easily. This valve is also suitable for media with a very high solids content. Should solids become lodged in the sealing area, this can be cleared using compressed air via the standard purge connections. To ensure that the intended operation is always maintained, the shut-off gate should be installed horizontally beneath the silo.
