Double-eccentric butterfly valve: High-performance valve lug type

Thanks to its double-eccentric design, the double-eccentric butterfly valve offers excellent tightness and low wear, which significantly extends its service life. Contact between the sealing surface and the disc therefore only occurs in the fully closed position, reducing wear. The lug type design of this high-performance butterfly valve is equipped with threaded holes and offers more flexibility compared to the wafer type version AX130. These valves are frequently used in applications requiring tight shut-off, low torque, and a long service life. They are therefore ideal for water treatment plants, power generation, the chemical industry, oil and gas pipelines, and industrial processes.

The high-performance double-eccentric valve type AX131, designed for high performance in demanding applications, is available with WCB and stainless steel bodies. The AX131 valve is available with seats made of materials such as RPTFE (reinforced PTFE) and INCONEL, which offer excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures.
