The Flanged Butterfly Valve Type AK201 is a centric-mounted butterfly valve that offers the highest reliability at an attractive price—ideally suited for industrial applications and pipelines without compromising quality and functionality. Type AK201 is equipped with threaded lugs that enable smooth installation in existing piping systems with flanges. This provides greater flexibility in use compared to the wafer-type variant Type AK200.
With a robust body made of ductile iron (GGG40 + epoxy 150 µm), these valves are suitable for installation between PN10/16 flanges and provide a secure seal. The disc is made of stainless steel (1.4408) and the shaft of stainless steel (AISI 420), ensuring high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. The butterfly valve can be supplied with various seat materials such as EPDM, NBR, PTFE, or Viton, thus offering flexibility for applications with different media and operating temperatures.
The valve can be operated manually via a hand lever or gearbox, but also automatically with a pneumatic or electric actuator. Thanks to the ISO 5211 mounting flange, the installation of actuators is simple and straightforward.
