Compact Gas Ball Valve KH118 – DVGW, TA-Luft & Fire Safe
The KH118 compact gas ball valve is a reliable shut-off solution for gas applications and industrial piping systems. The valve combines three important safety and compliance approvals: DVGW Gas for PN1–5 (MOP 5), TA-Luft according to VDI 2440 and Fire Safe according to BS 6755 / API 607.
The KH118 features a full bore and PTFE ball sealing and is available in nominal sizes from DN15 to DN100. Depending on the application, FERGO supplies the compact gas ball valve with a stainless steel or steel body.
- Stainless steel 1.4408 / 1.4401 (CF8M) – temperature range from −20 °C to +180 °C
- Steel ASTM A105 – temperature range from −10 °C to +180 °C
The standardized mounting flange according to ISO 5211 allows the valve to be automated with pneumatic or electric actuators. Standard operation is by hand lever.
Material and flange configurations
The KH118 is available in different material and flange combinations:
- Stainless steel + DIN PN40 for DN15–DN100 or DIN PN16 for DN32–DN100
- Stainless steel + ASME Class 150 for 1/2″–4″ or Class 300 for 1/2″–2″
- Steel + DIN PN40 for DN15–DN100 or DIN PN16 for DN50–DN100
- Steel + ASME Class 150 for 1/2″–4″ or Class 300 for 1/2″–2″
The available executions are designed for gas applications with DVGW Gas approval and are also suitable for applications requiring TA-Luft and Fire Safe compliance. An optional heating jacket is available for viscous or temperature-sensitive media.
