FLOWSERVE ATOMAC AKH2.2 Ball Valve
The FLOWSERVE ATOMAC AKH2.2 PFA-lined full-bore ball valve offers the same characteristics as the AKH2, but the AKH2.2 provides enhanced functions and features to improve suitability for toxic and corrosive applications.
The ATOMAC AKH2.2 design is equipped with a static and dynamic center-flange seal and, compared to the AKH2, with a metal-to-metal body connection that protects this seal. It absorbs destructive pipe vibrations and distortions, ensuring the seal cannot be compromised. Thermal cycling no longer requires retightening of the center-flange bolts.
Thanks to its disc springs, the PFA ball valve AKH2.2 is maintenance-free. Furthermore, the seats have a larger diameter and therefore result in lower flow turbulence across the seat; and the integrated retaining lip provides additional seat stability.
The FLOWSERVE AKH2.2 is equipped with a load-optimized stem seal, allowing this valve to obtain TA-Luft Certificate. The PTFE chevron packing preloaded with disc springs provides a reliable and maintenance-free seal to atmosphere and meets the applicable requirements for atmospheric emissions. Also available with FEP, Tefzel, PP, PVDF, and conductive PFA lining materials, as well as with V-port ball for precise control modulation. We automate this ball valve completely in-house, with pneumatic and electric actuators, together with all necessary control accessories.
