Flowserve Atomac ASF Strainer

The Flowserve PFA-lined strainer is a valuable component for handling chemicals or highly corrosive media. It is available in DIN and ASME standards.

The flow path of the strainer through the filter element has a larger area than the original pipe cross-section, allowing for minimal pressure loss. The corrosion-resistant filter element consists of two perforated PTFE cylinders with an intermediate ETFE filter screen, offering the same outstanding corrosion resistance as the lining material FEP or PFA.

Clogged filter elements can be easily replaced or cleaned without removing the strainer from the system. To provide additional safety for the operator, when changing or cleaning the filter the residual liquid in the element area can be removed by means of a PTFE drain plug before dismantling the access flange. Various mesh sizes of the filter fabric or perforations in the PTFE filter body are available to accommodate different contamination levels. Permanent drain connections are optionally available. Optionally available with PFA-conductive lining material.
