The double-eccentric butterfly valve, due to its double-offset design offers excellent tightness and minimal wear, which significantly extends its service life. With this type of butterfly valve, the disc is offset from the seat so that it moves away from the seat rather than turning around the axis when it rotates.
The double-eccentric butterfly valve type AX130 is the absolute elite among high-performance butterfly valves. Designed for high performance in critical applications, this wafer-type butterfly valve is available with WCB and stainless steel bodies. The AX130 high performance butterfly valve is available in seats made from materials such as RPTFE and INCONEL, which offer excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures.
