Vacuum Butterfly Valve AK210V – tight-sealing for vacuum applications
The vacuum butterfly valve type AK210V is a centrically mounted, tight-sealing wafer valve for industrial pipelines subject to vacuum loads. The vulcanized seat ring remains dimensionally stable even at full vacuum and is not drawn out of the valve body by the negative pressure – a fundamental requirement for reliable operation as a vacuum valve.

Seat Materials – EPDM, NBR or Viton
The seat material is selected based on the medium and operating temperature:
- EPDM: standard for water, air and aqueous media
- NBR: for oils, greases and fuels
- Viton (FKM): for aggressive media, acids and higher temperatures
All seat rings of the AK210V are vulcanized and anchored in the body, thereby providing consistent sealing performance even under alternating pressure and vacuum conditions.
Applications – Vacuum Pumps and Process Systems
The vacuum butterfly valve AK210V is suitable for piping systems in which negative pressure is generated by vacuum pumps, liquid ring pumps or other suction processes. Typical applications:

The mounting flange to ISO 5211 enables direct installation of actuators. The vacuum butterfly valve is available with the following operation types:
- Hand lever (aluminum detent lever)

- Pneumatic actuator – double-acting or single-acting
- Electric actuator – 24V, 230V or 400V AC/DC
