Shut-Off Valves for Steam, Hot Water & More
The UV116 and UV216 shut-off valves are manual valves for shutting off media flow. They feature a high level of tightness. Their key advantage is their compact design. They are equipped with a back seat, allowing the packing to be replaced during operation with the valve open.
Application: These valves are intended for use in heating technology, especially in hot-water lines; the UV216 can also be used in steam circuits if required. The wide range of Sizes available allows these valves to be used from the smallest flow rates (e.g., sampling valves) up to the largest volume flows in main pipeline runs.
Operating media: The valves are suitable for shutting off water, water vapour (UV216 only), air and other neutral media that are compatible with the valve material.
Installation positions: The valves can be installed in any position; however, it must be ensured that the operator has sufficient space to operate the handwheel. The flow direction is defined by the arrows on the Body. Reverse flow direction is permissible with limited shut-off pressure drop values.
