3-Way Brass Ball Valve – L & T Bore, PN25

The KL100/KT100 3-way brass ball valve is a cost-effective solution for diverting, mixing and distributing fluids in industrial pipelines and building services. The nickel-plated brass body and hard-chrome-plated ball provide good resistance to wear and corrosion, making the valve suitable for a wide range of applications with clean, non-aggressive media.

FERGO supplies the KL100/KT100 in two bore configurations with the same basic technical specifications:

  • KL100 – 3-way ball valve with L-bore, PTFE ball seat and NBR stem seal
  • KT100 – 3-way ball valve with T-bore, PTFE ball seat and FKM/NBR stem seal

Key technical data

  • Sizes: 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″, 1 1/2″ and 2″
  • Connection: female thread according to ISO 228 (F-F-F)
  • Full bore
  • Max. operating pressure: 25 bar
  • Operation: hand lever

L-bore or T-bore – choose the required flow function

The bore configuration of the ball determines how the 3-way ball valve controls the flow.

  • L-bore (KL100): Diverts the medium from one inlet to one of two outlet paths. This configuration is typically used for flow switching, bypass applications or alternating supply to two consumers.
  • T-bore (KT100): Connects two or all three ports simultaneously. It is suitable for mixing two media, distributing one inlet to two outlets or collecting flow from several sources.

Applications and automation

The brass 3-way ball valve is suitable for numerous applications involving clean, non-aggressive media, including:

  • Heating and sanitary installations
  • Compressed-air and vacuum systems
  • Water distribution and building services
  • Industrial fluid control and process systems
  • Oil, grease and lubrication systems

The KL100/KT100 is supplied as standard with a hand lever. For automated applications requiring pneumatic or electric actuation, FERGO recommends the stainless steel 3-way ball valve KL103/KT103 with an ISO 5211 mounting flange. The KL103/KT103 is available with electric or pneumatic actuation and is designed for applications requiring higher corrosion resistance.

Related products

The KL100/KT100 3-way ball valve is available from stock at FERGO.

For applications requiring increased corrosion resistance, the stainless steel KL103/KT103 with PN63 is an alternative. For flange connections and larger nominal sizes, FERGO offers the 3-way flanged ball valve KL112/KT112.
