Brass Ball Valve for Drinking Water – DVGW Certified with Threaded Connection

The KH107 brass ball valve is a DVGW-certified threaded ball valve for use in drinking water installations according to DVGW requirements for drinking water. The body and ball are made of chrome-plated brass, while the ball seat is made of PTFE and the O-rings are made of Viton/NBR. The 2-way drinking water ball valve features a full bore and is operated by a hand lever.

FERGO supplies the KH107 in two connection configurations:

  • KH107-MMTHI: female/female thread (F-F) according to ISO 7/1
  • KH107-MMTHZ: male/female thread (M-F) according to ISO 7/1

Both versions are available in sizes from 1/4″ to 2″. The maximum operating pressure is up to 40 bar, depending on size, with an operating temperature range from −20 °C to +150 °C.

Materials, connection and applications

The DVGW certification confirms that the materials in contact with the medium are suitable for applications involving drinking water. The PTFE ball seat provides reliable sealing even during frequent switching operations.

Typical applications of the KH107 threaded brass ball valve include:

  • Drinking water installations in buildings and supply networks
  • Heating and sanitary systems
  • Hot-water generation and circulation systems
  • Building services and technical building installations

The compact threaded connection according to ISO 7/1 enables quick installation without flanges or welding. Further information about DVGW certifications and approvals is available in the FERGO online shop.
