Rectangular gate valves: Bulk material gate valves
The FC-type flat gate valve is manufactured entirely to your specific requirements and specifications. All dimensions, such as the overall length and the internal and external dimensions of the rectangular gate valve, can be freely selected. Naturally, the materials for the housing, the gate plate and the sealing elements – such as the plate seal and the gland packing – can also be freely combined and tailored specifically to your application.
We would be happy to advise you on selecting from the extensive range of options. As with our round fabric gate valves, you can choose from a wide range of different manual and automatic actuation options for the FC flat gate valve. The single-sided sealing FC flat gate valve is suitable as standard for a differential pressure of up to 1 bar. However, higher pressures can be provided on request. Generally, this type of gate is used in the mining industry, as it is ideally suited for handling bulk materials.
