3-Wege Flanschkugelhahn Edelstahl — L- und T-Bohrung bis PN40
The 3-way flanged ball valve type KL112 / KT112 is a stainless steel 3-way ball valve with full bore in L-port and T-port configurations. The L-port ball valve (KL112) diverts media between two outlets, while the T-port ball valve (KT112) enables mixing or distribution across three connections. This three-way ball valve stainless steel covers nominal sizes DN15 to DN100 at pressure ratings PN10, PN16 and PN40. The operating temperature range extends from –29 °C to +175 °C. Body and ball in stainless steel 1.4408 (CF8M) combined with the creep-resistant TFM 1600 seat are suitable for chemically demanding media in process engineering, pharmaceutical production and steam systems. The 3-way ball valve CF8M is TA-Luft compliant per VDI 2440 and ATEX approved for zones 1/2. FERGO supplies both port configurations ex stock — pre-assembled with actuator on request.
Technical Data and Connection
The L-port ball valve and T-port ball valve are available in nominal sizes DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50, DN65, DN80 and DN100. Pressure ratings are PN40 (DN15–DN50) and PN16 or PN10 (DN65 and above). The flange connections conform to EN 1092-1. The operating temperature range is –29 °C to +175 °C at a maximum operating pressure of 40 bar (DN15–DN50). The full bore design minimises pressure loss and allows pigging. The EN ISO 5211 top flange enables direct mounting of pneumatic or electric quarter-turn actuators.
Materials and Sealing
Body and ball of the three-way ball valve stainless steel are cast in 1.4408 (A351 CF8M) — an austenitic stainless steel with high resistance to acids, alkalis and chloride-bearing media. The stem seal is made of PTFE. The TFM 1600 seat material offers improved creep resistance and higher mechanical strength compared to conventional PTFE — particularly advantageous under fluctuating temperatures and pressures. TA-Luft compliance per VDI 2440 confirms the diffusion-tight stem sealing for emission-relevant installations. The ATEX approval II 2GD permits use in explosive atmospheres of zones 1 and 2.
Actuation and Ordering
The 3-way flanged ball valve is supplied with a hand lever as standard. Automation with pneumatic actuators (single-acting or double-acting) or electric actuators (24 V to 400 V) is carried out in-house via the EN ISO 5211 mounting interface.
