Dual Plate Check Valve
A dual plate check valve has two semicircular, spring-loaded plates that open when the medium flows in the intended direction and close when the medium flows in the opposite direction. This type of check valve is used because it has low flow resistance, thus minimizing pressure loss. They are also suitable for large volume flows of liquids and gases in industrial applications.
Our RF200 features a wafer-type body specifically designed for installation between PN10/16 flanges. With a Face-to-face dimension according to EN 558-1, series 16, this dual plate check valve is compact, space-saving, and can be easily integrated into existing piping systems. The Body of the RF200 is made of robust GGG40 (EN-GJS-400-15), while the plates are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel (CF8M), and the shaft and Spring are also made of stainless steel. Thanks to the spring-loaded plates, the valve closes quickly, which is important to prevent water hammer or other damage caused by sudden pressure changes.
The RF200 dual plate check valve is designed for high loads, thus offering durability and efficiency. This valve is available with vulcanized EPDM and NBR seals.
