Dual-plate check valve: non-return valve

A dual-plate check valve has two semi-circular, spring-loaded flaps that open when the medium flows in the intended direction and close when the medium flows in the opposite direction. This type of non-return valve is used because it has a low flow resistance and therefore minimises pressure loss. They are also suitable for large volume flows of liquids and gases in industry.

Our RF200 has a wafer body that has been designed for installation between PN10/16 flanges. With an overall length in accordance with EN 558-1, series 16, this double-plate check valve is compact, saves space and can be easily integrated into existing pipework systems. The body of the RF200 is made of robust GGG40 (EN-GJS-400-15), while the blades are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel (CF8M) and the shaft and spring are also made of stainless steel. The spring-loaded flaps allow the valve to close quickly, which is important to prevent water hammer or other damage caused by sudden pressure changes.

Our check valve type RF200 is designed to meet high demands and therefore offers durability and efficiency. This valve is available with vulcanised EPDM and NBR seals.
