Flanged steel check valve
Flanged check valves are commonly used in applications where preventing backflow is important, e.g. in water supply systems, steam systems, oil and gas pipelines, and chemical processing plants. The design of flanged check valves varies depending on the medium, application, and process parameters.
Our RV430 is our flanged steel check valve with a “lift” design. The disc inside the valve lifts when the fluid flows in the desired direction and drops back onto the Seat when flow stops or reverses. This means the RV430 not only prevents backflow, but also protects the system from sudden changes in pressure or temperature. It is suitable for systems with high flow velocities, e.g. for water and steam applications.
Manufactured from 1.0619 (steel), the check valve offers excellent mechanical strength and is resistant to corrosion and thermal stress. The valve disc is made from high-quality 13Cr (chromium steel), ensuring high wear and corrosion resistance. The valve’s flange connection is designed to PN40, type B1, EN 1092-1.
