The flange check valves ZV116, ZV216, ZV226 and ZV236 are automatic valves for preventing unwanted backflow. They are designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation. The opening overpressure is 0.05 to 0.1 bar. The check valve is suitable for use as an automatic backflow preventer in hot-water and steam circuits of power plants, combined heat and power plants, extraction and transfer stations, as well as in standard heating systems. Working media: water, steam and other liquids and gases that are compatible with the media-wetted materials (body and internals). The check valves ZV226 and ZV236 also feature a bellows, which ensures hermetic sealing, and additionally a safety stuffing box made of graphite. Furthermore, these two types can be fitted with a handwheel to shut off the flow when required.
