Resilient Seated Gate Valve Type VA201 — Ductile Iron Gate Valve with F5 Standard Length
The resilient seated gate valve type VA201 is a ductile iron gate valve GGG40 with elastomer-coated wedge. It provides tight shut-off in drinking water, wastewater and industrial installations. The body consists of EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG40). The wedge also uses GGG40 and carries a full EPDM or NBR coating. Moreover, the EPDM version holds DVGW approval for drinking water.
This gate valve flanged F5 length covers nominal sizes DN32 to DN600. It is available in pressure ratings PN10 and PN16. Flange drilling conforms to EN 1092-2 PN10/16. Furthermore, the face-to-face length follows DIN EN 558-1 Series 15 (F5). This standard length allows direct replacement in existing pipeline systems.
Tightness conforms to Class A. In addition, the maximum operating temperature is 70 °C. Actuation options include handwheel, electric rotary actuator or pneumatic double-acting actuator. Finally, FERGO supplies the gate valve DN600 ex stock.

The resilient seated gate valve is available in nominal sizes DN32 to DN600. Pressure ratings cover PN10 and PN16. Flange drilling conforms to EN 1092-2 PN10/16. In addition, the face-to-face length to DIN EN 558-1 Series 15 (F5) is the standardised length. As a result, it allows direct 1:1 replacement of existing gate valves without pipeline modification.
Moreover, the maximum operating temperature is 70 °C. This gate valve PN16 comes with handwheel, electric rotary actuator (B3 coupling to ISO 5210, compatible with AUMA and Bernard) or pneumatic double-acting actuator.
Materials and Sealing of the Ductile Iron Gate Valve
Body and wedge of the ductile iron gate valve GGG40 consist of EN-GJS-400-15. This ductile material offers high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The wedge carries a full EPDM or NBR coating. Consequently, it provides metal-free, tight shut-off to Class A.
The EPDM version holds DVGW approval for use in drinking water installations. The NBR version suits wastewater and industrial media. Optionally the body comes in EN-GJS-500-7 (GGG50). Finally, the gate valve DVGW drinking water meets the hygienic requirements for valves in water supply systems.

The resilient seated gate valve protects drinking water lines, wastewater systems, irrigation installations and industrial water networks reliably.
