The VA430 gate valve is a high-quality industrial valve characterised by its robust design and reliability. It has a ‘Outside Screw and Yoke’ (OS&Y) design, which ensures easy maintenance and a long service life. The gate valve has a full bore and complies with the design requirements of EN 1984. It is equipped with a flange connection according to EN 1092-1, form B1, and has an overall length according to EN 558-1, series 14.
Manufactured from high-quality materials such as 1.0619 (steel) for the body and cover and X20Cr13 for the spindle, the VA430 gate valve is designed for demanding operating conditions. This metal seated gate valve has a seat made of 13Cr, which guarantees high wear resistance. The gland packing and the body seal are made of graphite and fulfil the requirements of TA Luft for particularly tight seals even at high temperatures. The VA430 is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 400°C. It is manually operated via a handwheel.
