Water Line Gate Valve
The VA100 water line gate valve is an excellent choice for use in domestic water lines, heating systems, and air conditioning units. With its threaded sockets on both sides according to DIN EN ISO 228, the VA100 ensures a secure and reliable connection in various applications. In sizes of 2½” and larger, the gate valve is also available with NPT threads, making it even more flexible.
The VA100 threaded gate valve is made of high-quality brass (CW617N), known for its corrosion resistance and durability. The brass wedge and body offer additional robustness, while the metallic seat seal ensures an excellent seal at high pressures and temperatures. The water line gate valve is designed for an operating pressure of up to 16 bar (232 psi) and can be operated in a temperature range from 0°C to 150°C. However, it is important to note that the VA100 is not suitable for steam lines.
The handwheel of the VA100 is made of red-painted steel, which facilitates handling. The VA100 threaded gate valve is available in sizes from ½” to 4″, making it ideal for various applications in water and heating installations.
